Exterior Alarm (EA), Interior Alarm (IA)

The alarm unit will receive commands from the Alarm control Panel to activate the alarm. Alarm units are also required to be tamper proof. This may require interfaces to analogue and digital signals to detect any attempts to disable the alarm. It may also be necessary to send the status of the alarm back to the Alarm Control Panel.

NEC's 8 bit micro range (78K0/78K0S) is ideally suited for these applications.
