NEC Electronics Europe extends relationship with Industrial Market

NEC Electronics Europe announces its inaugural Industrial Open Day which will take place in Cyprus from 2-4th November 2006. This unique event aims to bring together market-leading customers and allow them to experience NEC Electronics’ vision for the future of Industrial electronics, providing a platform for continued partnership into the next decade and beyond, as well as extending customers’ own business connections amongst their peers.

The Industrial Open Day will be hosted by key senior NEC Electronics representatives from both Europe and Japan, who will share their vision of the future for Industrial semiconductors and TFT-LCD products, alongside key aspects such as supply chain, quality & reliability, globalisation of manufacturing and environmental issues. They will be joined by independent analysts and industry experts who will speak about key Industrial trends for the coming years.

This will be backed by interactive exhibits such as the Time Portal, where visitors will be transported through more than 100 years of NEC’s history before taking a glimpse of what is to come in the future, The Technoseum, where the history of semiconductor and display technology will be brought to life, and The Futurezone which will feature virtual interpretations of where customers’ products might be in the year 2020.
