NEC Electronics Europe today announced its participation in the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. The NEC Electronics booth will be featuring the company’s embedded automotive solutions including leading-edge IMAPCAR (Integrated Memory Array Processor for CAR) technology for driving assistance and vision processing. In Hall 6, Aisle K, Booth 4 NEC Electronics will highlight their latest microcontroller innovations presented in real automotive environments.
- Body: the F and K Series comprise 8-bit and 32-bit devices that are tailored to typical requirements of comfort applications, with a special focus on low power.
- Dashboard: the 32-bit D Series featuring scalable memory from 128 kB to 2 MB flash together with companion graphics chips covers all possible dashboard applications, from standard needle clusters to high-end colour TFT dashboards.
- Audio: the 32-bit S Series in 3.3 V is a controller solution for automotive audio systems. Where additional connectivity features such as USB and compressed audio decoding are required, NEC Electronics provides a plug & play answer.
- Safety: the 32-bit R Series and IMAPCAR vision controller cover the whole automotive field from passive applications, such as restraint control modules, to active safety such as collision warning.
- Chassis: the 32-bit P Series, featuring efficient embedded safety diagnostics and FlexRay interfaces is ready for these highly safety-relevant segments.
Other products demonstrated at the booth will include powerMOS and intelligent power devices.
Furthermore, NEC Electronics will participate in the Driving Assistance conference:
