NEC Electronics Workshop Program 2009

NEC Electronics provides comprehensive seminars and workshops on a wide range of its micro and ASIC products at the European Support Centre.
The 1 – 3 days courses can be combined from below mentioned three modules to adapt the level of details and product overviews to the different demands:

Device Workshop (2 days - 3 days )

Impart detailed knowledge about the CPU architecture and the main peripheral functionality’s of the family members. Features of hardware tools will be explained, overview of software tools will be presented. Hands-on- sessions with development tools provide participants with practical experience. The workshops are targeted for technical design engineers.

SW Tools Training IAR for 78K / GHS for V850 (2 days)

Detailed two-days software tools training of the development environment(s) offered from NEC Electronics. This training is targeted for technical/design engineers.

EMC (1 day)

This training will be held twice in 2009 to show the background of EMC and its measurements methods; it will submit LSI and design measures to improve EMC with NEC microcontrollers.

ERTEC (3 days)

Overview about the different types of ERTEC devices and functions will be given. Introduction of the internal CPU core of the ERTEC devices ARM946E-S. Tool-kit overview and getting started with the different tool chains for ERTEC and finally a practical session with the ERTEC tool-kit.

All the workshops/seminars are held at our European Headquarter in Düsseldorf. Additional workshop/seminars, also at customer premises or at local NEC Electronics sales offices, can be arranged on request. Each day of the workshop seminars lasts from 9 am until 5 pm. Please reserve enough time for your journey, so that the sessions can start at 9 am punctually. Deadline for registration is two weeks before the workshop.
